Small scope.
Clear terms.
These Terms cover the free Scope Creep demo at marklou.launchdock.cloud, operated by Mark Zschiegner. Questions: topdog@puremoney.lol. By using the tool, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What the tool does
Scope Creep keeps client projects, original scope, budgets, and additional requests together. You enter the estimates and rates, then share a request for the client to approve or decline.
No promised outcome
The service helps you record decisions. It does not guarantee payment, resolve disputes, or provide business, financial, legal, or professional advice. You remain responsible for your agreements, estimates, and work.
Your Google login and account
Google login is required to create new client projects. Use an account you control and sign in with the same Google account to return to your saved work. You are responsible for protecting access to that Google account and for the project information and private links you share. We never ask for your Google password. Our Privacy Notice explains the account information we receive, the login cookies we use, and how we handle that information.
Use “Log out” in the client desk’s top navigation to end your current browser session. Your server projects remain saved, subject to the 180-day project retention period. Logout does not sign you out of Google, end sessions on other browsers or devices, revoke review links, or disconnect the Chrome extension. Revoke extension access from the project when you need to end that separate access.
You can delete your Scope Creep account using “Delete account” in the client desk. This removes the account and its owned projects from our active database, as described in the Privacy Notice. Export anything you need first. Disconnecting Scope Creep in Google’s settings does not by itself delete your Scope Creep account or its records. If you lose access to Google login, contact us for help; we must verify requests before disclosing or deleting account information.
Client scope records and approvals
The free client-project workflow records the original scope you enter and separately priced additions. It does not verify any earlier client agreement. Rates and estimates are supplied by the project owner; displayed amounts exclude any separately agreed taxes or expenses. Added days are estimates in calendar days, not guaranteed completion dates. We do not send invoices, collect payments, or automatically contact clients.
Owner links grant full project access. Client review links permit their holders to read a request and submit its first approval or decline using a self-reported name. This is a lightweight acknowledgement record, not an identity-verified signature service. You are responsible for sending links to appropriate people, confirming authority, and using the contract and invoicing process your project requires. We do not determine the legal effect of a response. Approved, declined, or cancelled requests cannot be edited through the tool; create a new request when terms change.
Server projects expire 180 days after creation. Export important records and retain your private owner link. Sign in with Google to retain access to account-linked projects; guest owner keys cannot be recovered through an account. Deleting a project invalidates its links and removes the active server records. You must have the right to submit information about your client and inform participants of the relevant data practices.
Chrome extension
The extension is a free manual-install beta. It captures selected text when you invoke its menu and sends request contents to the server only when you submit them. Revocable extension connection keys are stored locally. You can disconnect projects or uninstall the extension; use the website to delete server projects. Manual installations require manual updates. Chrome Web Store publication has not been completed.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of the ideas and content you enter. You may use and adapt your exported records, including commercially. You are responsible for having the rights to material you enter or share. Do not place secrets, credentials, or sensitive personal data in project records. Sharing a private link gives its holders access to the associated records.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability, distribute malicious code, impersonate others, or use the service to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights. Normal use, linking to the tool, and sharing your own records are welcome.
Price, availability, and data
This demo is free. New client projects require Google sign-in. The free plan allows up to 3 clients per account and multiple projects per client. Client names are grouped ignoring capitalization and repeated spaces. Nothing charges you or starts a subscription. A first Google sign-in triggers a one-time service welcome email. Features may change, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Any future paid offering would require a separate explicit agreement. Export important project records before deleting them or their retention period ends. Client-project data is stored as explained in the Privacy Notice.
Site materials
Site design, branding, and code are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant permission to use the tool, not a license to resell or copy its website assets. Your own ideas and exported records remain yours. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners.
Independent demo
This is an independent project built in response to a public building challenge. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Marc Lou or OpenAI. “Built with Astra” describes the development process, not an AI analysis feature within the tool.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. We are not responsible for business outcomes, lost opportunities, or loss of project records arising from your use, except where applicable law makes us responsible. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Concerns and updates
Please email us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Mandatory laws and consumer protections in your jurisdiction continue to apply; these Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive class-action rights. Material changes will be published here with an updated effective date. The Privacy Notice explains our data practices.
